• Led the implementation of the department's IT asset management system, from defining scope with stakeholders through the technical build. The work was recognized in the department's 2023 Impact Report.
• Re-implemented that system on Linux and Docker, migrating it with no data loss and minimal downtime, on repurposed hardware. Performance and reliability both improved substantially.
• Deployed a Kanban board application for the team, self-hosted to keep costs at zero.
• Audited and reorganized the department's IT asset inventory, giving us real numbers to plan and budget against.
• Cut the rate of misrouted support tickets by writing and circulating shared standards with neighboring departments, which meant less rework for my team and faster responses for our users.
• Work with department staff on data retrieval and reporting across university systems, and enforce technology standards for security and data governance.
